San Rafael Church, Marin County’s pride and joy. This gorgeous church was founded in 1817 and rebuilt in 1949 after being completely destroyed during Secularization. On a trip to California, I took a walk in downtown San Rafael and came across this spectacular sight. The lighting was just right and the pink pastel color of the church complimented the surrounding trees so well. At the bottom of the photo, you can see a group of onlookers gazing at the incredible structure, displaying the immense scale of the facade.
